Do your hands cramp up when you are mixing epoxy, paint, glues, etc? Does trying to hold those thin mixers or sticks hurt your hands?
Yep, me too.
This tool was 100% created just for my personal use initially. I didn’t even plan to sell it, but when it helped me SO MUCH, I decided that anyone else whose hands get sore and cramp up while mixing stuff could benefit.
The tool is fairly straightforward to use. It will accommodate multiple size mixing sticks or application tools. Personally, I use plastic ones but I know many people prefer and use wood.
The tool can fit sticks that are up to .37" inches wide and can accommodate round sticks .132" wide. It comes with one re-usable plastic stir stick. Simply wipe with a baby wipe right after use and you can use it over and over again.
You also can choose how much length of your stick is exposed, so you are able to use the handle whether you are mixing in a small cup or larger cup.
The handle is 4.75 inches long and 1.5 inches wide. It fits comfortably in my hand, as well as my husband's.
I love this idea, I really think if the stir sticks were made of stronger material I would absolutely love it. The sticks are a little weak when mixing 8oz, from my experience. This is definitely not the first or last item I will purchase from KellBell Custom.
